Rachel Payne, Psychotherpist MBACP
Are you feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, or self-doubt? Many of the people I work with share these experiences, often knowing something doesn’t feel right but struggling to understand why. You’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to explore what’s happening for you, gently uncover what lies beneath the surface, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself with compassion and care.
I am a person-centred counsellor, with additional training in Transactional Analysis. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the here-and-now. Working relationally, I walk alongside you as we explore emotions, patterns, and experiences at your pace. I support both young people and adults, working in a trauma-informed way to help build insight, resilience, and self-understanding.
Experience & Background
I bring over 15 years of experience in addiction services, including work within rehabilitation units. Alongside this, I have supported young people and adults who have experienced trauma. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how overwhelming life can feel at times — and how powerful it can be to have a dedicated, non-judgmental space for healing and growth.
